Swamp Mistress (Mary Cobb) is a self taught, contemporary glass artist residing in Oakland, Ca. With a boundless imagination and an eye for the unusual, Mary Cobb brings an edgy, authentic approach to the world of stained glass breaking away from tradition to craft unique glass art. Mary uses the copper foil/Tiffany technique to experiment with styles ranging from the morbid and macabre to the colorful and abstract. She pulls inspiration from pop-culture, books, movies, television, and the many effervescent people she walks amongst in the consummate bay area.
